We’ve been winning awards too. Since 2023 we’ve been voted one of the best places to work, one of the fastest‑growing apps and tech companies and a leading pioneer of business travel. These are just some of the reasons why global brands like Wise, Red Bull, GetYourGuide and Aesop trust us to get the most out of their travel.
The Role
At TravelPerk we empower cross‑functional teams that drive exceptional results for our customers and the company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Cards team in North America. The Cards product is a core pillar of TravelPerk’s platform. It provides businesses with real‑time visibility into spend, streamlines the reconciliation process and ensures compliance through robust policy controls. For employees it removes the burden of using personal funds and waiting for reimbursement—simplifying the entire expense experience. North America represents a massive opportunity for our growth and this role is pivotal to tailoring our world‑class cards product to the unique needs of this strategic market.
As a Senior Product Designer for Cards in North America you’ll partner with a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager to define a 7‑star experience for our customers—empowering employees with a frictionless way to pay for their expenses while giving admins full control and visibility over company spend.
What you’ll do:
- Design for Impact: Craft end‑to‑end user experiences across web and mobile that make managing cards effortless for employees, admins and finance teams.
- Bring Insights to Life: Turn data, customer feedback and market research into design solutions tailored to the US market.
- Shape the Vision: Partner with PMs and Engineers to define clear problem statements and design strategies that balance user needs with business goals.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work hand‑in‑hand with developers, researchers and other stakeholders such as Sales Engineering, Implementation and Account Managers to bring ideas to life.
- Champion The User: Advocate for best‑in‑class usability and accessibility, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive and impactful.
What skills are required:
- Experience That Counts: 5+ years of product design experience at a fast‑growing tech company. Experience with Expense Management, FinTech or SaaS products in NAM is a strong plus.
- A Sharp Eye for UX: You know what makes a great product experience and can design solutions that are both simple and scalable. You are able to set the bar and influence the craft for other designers around you.
- Systems Thinker: Comfortable designing within (and contributing to) a design system, balancing consistency with innovation.
- Cross‑Functional mindset: Skilled at working with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant designs.
- Storytelling Skills: Able to clearly communicate the “why” behind your design decisions to inspire your team and align stakeholders.
- End‑to‑end execution: You can take a project from concept to launch, breaking down complexity into deliverables that ship value quickly.
Why you’ll love our team:
- We are a team of 50 talented Product Designers, Content Designers and Researchers. We like to think of ourselves as high‑achievers, goal‑oriented and eager to learn and grow. We foster efficiency through autonomy and creativity through collaboration.
- Working in the Product Design team will ensure high‑quality design, strategic impact on the product and next‑level GIFs.
- In the Product Design team you will find a strong culture of ownership, impact‑over‑effort and lending support to each other; there are no egos and transparency is highly valued.
- We are a heterogeneous team with multiple nationalities and backgrounds, pushing for getting better, having fun and always asking why.
- In the next 12 months we have the challenge to grow our team to almost double its current size, supporting every squad while also scaling our Content and Research functions.
