SPM account executives actively participate in client status calls and meetings, and help plan, coordinate and execute client projects and events. Other key functions include assisting in SPM’s editorial process as a proofreader; actively participating in all-agency brainstorming sessions; and supervising apprentices, ACs and AAEs on projects.
Work includes media relations, writing, influencer relations and management, and industry research.
Qualifications
You have earned your stripes with a minimum of three years’ post-graduate PR experience
You love a good research project and are continuously learning
You have PR agency experience – extra plus if you’ve worked with influencers
You live for putting together stellar media lists and love getting a big win for your client
You have a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university
You keep a pulse on new trends or tools
You love a good check list and are quickly becoming a project management expert
You are familiar withPR measurement and research tools, including Critical Mention and Muck Rack
You are quickly becoming a master of all things AP style
You thrive in a high-energy environment
You are based in the DFW area or are willing to relocate for in-person work
