How We Lead The Content Protection department supports all UMG labels and business units worldwide across multiple time zones. This fast‑paced environment offers opportunities to work on diverse projects related to the management of audio and video content and other digital and physical workstreams. Key Responsibilities Review and assess UMG content using internal and external technologies. Handle inquiries from internal business units and labels, including Spanish‑speaking labels. Work with international trade groups to enforce UMG rights. Stay abreast of digital trends related to the recording industry. Qualifications 0–1+ years of experience in the music industry, digital media, entertainment, technology, or related fields. Familiarity with anti‑piracy, copyright, or trademark matters preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel). Bachelor’s degree required. Required Skills & Abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Self‑starter able to work independently or as part of a team. Significant understanding of digital technologies, especially music platforms and mobile apps. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Passion for music and digital music platforms. Preferred Skills & Abilities Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese. Advanced Office 365 skills, including Excel. Experience with large datasets and databases, including SQL. Excellent presentation skills and willingness to speak publicly with peers and senior managers. Additional Information This description is a guide to major responsibilities.
