Role overview As a Music Teacher, you will teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count and ensure each student grows, enjoys playing music, and experiences a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect. Impact areas Store Culture & Excellence: Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs. Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum. Assist with customer service and help build long-term student relationships by delivering a great experience. Additional duties as assigned. Student & Parent Partnership: Communicate with students and families regularly, build trusting relationships, and acknowledge parents as partners in their child’s musical education. Provide progress updates to students and/or parents. Share goals and progress with students and/or parents frequently. Requirements: Experience in Music, Education, or a related field. Ability to teach the instrument(s) they are proficient in (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard). Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area to be taught.
