Summary
Translate technical features and innovations into rallying stories for media, tech reviewers, and users
Drive technical content that supports product launches, performance branding, and differentiation
Collaborate with the PR Manager to align embargoes, media backgrounders, demos, and technical guides
Partner with Community / Evangelism teams to activate content‑driven events (webinars, deep dives, labs)
Maintain testing infrastructure or coordinate lab resources to produce benchmarks, validation tests, comparisons
Provide internal enablement—help marketing, sales, and partner teams understand the technology and how to talk about it

Technical Content & Communication
Author and own technical collateral: white papers, reference architectures, performance reports, benchmarks, comparison charts, application notes
Work with engineering/product to translate roadmaps, feature tradeoffs, and specs into clear messaging
Create detailed technical Q&A, media briefs, backgrounders for PR support
Collaborate with PR/Media & Reviewer teams to provide demos, test data, technical context during review cycles
Launch Support & Cross‑Functional Alignment
Participate in launch planning; ensure technical messaging, demo readiness, and technical health of product is validated
Partner with Product Marketing for alignment on positioning, differentiators, and go‑to‑market strategy
Collaborate with channel marketing, retail, and sales teams to integrate technical messaging into campaigns and positioning
Maintain competitive technical intelligence: monitor competitor architectures, performance, specs
Analyze test results, produce insights, recommend products or messaging adjustments
Community & Evangelism Collaboration
Work with community / evangelism / content teams to host webinars, tech deep‑dive sessions, user labs, technical workshops
Provide content for forums, developer‑type audiences, power users, tech influencers
Serve as technical expert spokesperson for internal and external engagement
Enablement & Training
Educate marketing, sales, and partner teams on technical features and how to communicate them
Create internal workshops, guides, cheat sheets, training decks
Metrics & Feedback Loops
Track and report on how technical content and messaging influence media coverage, reviews, conversion, and adoption
Gather media, reviewer, and community feedback to refine future technical messagingEnsure claims and content are accurate, validated, and compliant (legal, IP, regulatory)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, EE, or equivalent technical field (or strong technical background)
4–7 years (or more) experience in technical marketing / technical product marketing / engineering liaison roles in hardware, computing, or consumer electronics
Strong ability to read technical specs, datasheets, architectural diagrams, and ask probing engineering questions
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills—able to write for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Hands‑on experience with testing, benchmarking, lab environments, performance validation, or similar
Comfort collaborating with engineers, product management, marketing, and PR teams
Experience supporting product launches with technical collateral and media support
Familiarity with PC hardware, system architecture, cooling, performance tradeoffs, benchmarking tools is a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insight from data
Detail‑oriented, curious, and self‑driven
Personal Characteristics
