Summary This is a strategic and creative leadership opportunity to guide the global content strategy for Genesys, a recognized leader in AI-powered experience orchestration. As Vice President, Content Marketing & Thought Leadership, you will develop and scale a world‑class content engine that drives our go-to-market success, strengthens brand authority, and inspires global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead global content strategy across the company and go-to-market functions, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning.
Oversee the creation of original, high-value content—including articles, reports, videos, and long- and short‑form assets that inform and inspire our audiences.
Champion thought leadership, positioning Genesys and its executives as trusted authorities through timely, research-backed insights.
Drive demand generation and customer engagement through content that fuels digital marketing, product launches, executive engagements, and flagship events.
Maintain exceptional standards for originality, clarity, and authenticity in all content assets.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership to ensure a consistent brand voice and narrative.
Apply data‑driven insights to optimize content performance and continuously improve impact and reach.
Coach and scale a high‑performing global content team of writers, editors, strategists, and leaders, fostering professional development while driving results.
Minimum Requirements
12+ years in content marketing, brand journalism, or editorial leadership, preferably in B2B technology or enterprise software.
Proven success building and leading global content teams that deliver measurable business results.
Demonstrated ability to align content strategies with business goals and drive demand, awareness, and customer engagement.
Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment, with a portfolio showcasing long‑form and short‑form content across multiple channels.
In‑depth understanding of digital content strategies and organic audience engagement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing at the executive level.
Strategic mindset that translates complex technology topics into clear, compelling narratives.
Exemplifies integrity and collaborative leadership, consistently building trust and alignment across all levels of the organization.
Creative problem solving and adaptability in dynamic, fast‑changing environments.
Ability to thrive in a global, agile, fast‑paced environment.
Compensation Base salary range: $203,600 – $378,000. Eligible for commission or performance‑based bonus opportunities.
