Artemest is expanding its offering through a newDesign Servicein NYC dedicated to clients seeking personalized design guidance and curated FF&E solutions. We are seeking aJunior to Mid-Level Interior Designerto join the team atArtemest Galleria in New York. The role combines creative interior design, project management, and client relationship skills, supporting clients through every stage, from initial concept and product selection to delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients at Artemest Galleria and on-site to understand their style preferences, project needs, and functional requirements. Developcustom FF&E and design packagesusing Artemest’s curated product assortment and Design Service framework. Prepare layouts, mood boards, and proposals that align with Artemest’s design language and the client’s space and budget. Liaise directly with theheadquarters team in Milanto coordinate sampling, quotations, lead times, and bespoke requests. Act asproject managerthroughout the full process, from pre-sale consultations and material sampling to order confirmation, delivery, and installation. Conductbasic site visits and measurementsto ensure design accuracy and smooth installation. Maintain ongoing client relationships through follow-ups, design meetings, and post-sale support. Represent Artemest asadesign ambassador, providing expert guidance on Italian craftsmanship and contemporary interiors. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in residential design, FF&E specification, or project coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in client-facing environments. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Appreciation for Italian design, craftsmanship, and luxury interiors. Other information What We Offer
