We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Designer located in any of our offices or remote work.

How You Will Contribute

Demonstrate organization and communication skills while overseeing project design progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, as‑builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.

Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets and participate in team and on‑site progress meetings.

Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications while ensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed.

Multi‑task and prioritize assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.

What You Need To Qualify

3‑5 years of experience in the design of fire alarms, special hazard suppression, and pre‑engineered systems or related experience.

Previous experience working in AutoCAD is required.

Preferred: industrial design experience, knowledge of low‑voltage wiring and conventional and/or addressable fire alarm panels, and experience with special hazard fire suppression systems.

Commitment to exceptional customer service, cutting‑edge industry knowledge, and detailed pre‑planning and execution of tasks.

NICET Certification preferred.

Previous experience in Revit or BIM modeling is preferred.

Salary: $100,600.00 - $258,000.00
