Opportunity As Marketing Coordinator, you will join a team-focused, fast-paced environment and will be integral in the success of New England Lab through developing our brand, print and online marketing. A Marketing Coordinator needs to have experience creating copy, designing marketing material (layout, graphics and content), managing social media platforms and managing the process from concept through completion. Proactive planning, organization, coordination and communication are all essential to your role and daily tasks. This is a full-time, salary position with standard hours of 8am-5pm M-F, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Role In the position of Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall creation, design, production and schedule of New England Lab’s marketing program to be presented through social media, advertising, tradeshows, websites, publications and awards/recognition. Communicate regularly with departments, managers and employees to engage the team and support the company vision and goals visually. You will assist departments with general marketing support such as send/receive correspondence, market/project research and managing vendor print material.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create digital and print design for a range of projects; including brand identity, landing pages, digital advertising media, social media graphics (static and animated), sales collateral, promotional materials, and more
Execute graphic design projects such as flyers, invitations, collateral, digital graphics, logos, company newsletter, promotional signage, articles, print advertising and web sites
Assist with the maintenance of the company websites and social media sites
Social media marketing by creating, managing and growing New England Lab’s brand presence while engaging and targeting specific demographics through Facebook, LinkedIn and other strategically relevant online platforms
Coordinate, manage and attend industry events and be responsible for planning company events (may be required after hours and/or minimal domestic travel)
Responsible for media requests and determining relevance, design and content
Responsible for, as part of the customer support team, answering questions through phone, email and website inquiries and managing online feedback
Create or oversee (outsourced projects) any new print or website graphic media
Manage inventory and organization of NEL clothing, literature, and giveaway products
Responsible for knowledge of product line, applications and industries
Assist other departments as needed (marketing, project management, technical services, executive) with communication needs
Support sales and estimating with the daily flow of information. Assist with proposals, document management and coordination
Qualifications
2-5 years in marketing, in the A/E/C industry preferred
BS/BA with concentration in marketing or graphic design preferred
2+ years of experience designing as part of a marketing or creative team in the construction industry is preferred
Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
Design capability across many mediums and channels (from print to digital and presentations, to merchandise)
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Enthusiastic and positive approach to daily tasks, employees, vendors and customers
Personable, able to work through changes, concerns or issues
Dependable, driven, strong personal work ethic
Able to effectively manage information, schedules and personalities
Well organized and able to appropriately prioritize tasks
Able to work independently
Experience creating and managing content in order to grow traffic and engagement online

This is a stationary position involving constant operation of computers and other office machinery. Substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers are required.
