Senior Technical Writer in North team, responsible for creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation for our enterprise‑ready AI platform, enabling developers, Centers of Excellence, and end‑users to leverage North’s capabilities. Responsibilities

Design and develop high‑quality technical documentation for North’s features, APIs, product features such as automations, document mode, chat, 1st Party/3rd Party custom tools, and security protocols. Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and customer success teams to gather insights, understand new features, and ensure documentation accuracy. Create tutorials, quick‑start guides, and best‑practice content to help users deploy North’s AI agents and integrations (e.g., MCP servers, 1st Party connectors). Organize and maintain a cohesive documentation architecture, ensuring content is discoverable, up‑to‑date, and aligned with Cohere’s style guide. Incorporate user feedback to iteratively improve documentation and address knowledge gaps. Contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives, empowering engineers to write effectively and confidently. Requirements

5+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in enterprise software, AI/ML, or developer tools. Proven ability to explain complex technical systems (e.g., APIs, data security, LLMs) to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Proficiency with documentation tools: Markdown, Git, static site generators, and API specification formats (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger). Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and modern software development practices. Strong project‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills and a user‑centric mindset. Nice‑to‑Haves

Experience documenting AI platforms, security protocols, or enterprise workflow tools. Hands‑on coding experience (Python, TypeScript, etc.). Location
