Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Network Administrator 3. This position works on site at Tactical Training Group Pacific, Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center‑Corona in providing Network and Systems Administration directly to the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program of record.

The Network Administrator position requires interaction with Military, Government and Contractor Leadership. Communication skills are required. The position requires flexibility to work non-standard work hours and occasional work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support to military staff and Contractor War Gaming Staff for Secret internet (SIPR) and C4I Systems account logins, account creation and troubleshooting of Virtual Machines.

Knowledge of and experience providing technical assistance of Global Command and Control Systems Joint – (GCCS-J) and Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT).

Knowledge of and experience with Active Directory, account generation and maintenance.

Manage the setup, operation and monitoring of internal communication systems and communications plan prior to and during war gaming events.

Assist with inventory of current assets and DRMO of outdated equipment, safeguarding systems in accordance with prescribed classification level.

Open to training and practical application of Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF)/ Joint Simulation BUS (JBUS).

Responsible for maintaining and accurately updating equipment inventory to support operational readiness and asset accountability.

Maintain and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with DoD directives.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 3 years relevant experience with Masters; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 9 years relevant experience.

Knowledge of managing clients in a virtual operating system environment, creating and managing accounts and interactive troubleshooting with users.

Required IT certifications: Windows Operating System; CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent or higher).

Ability to recognize and troubleshoot C4I system problems to assure continued execution of war gaming events.

Experience in Windows Systems administration.

Well-developed personal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.

Must currently hold and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements Job Performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
