Role Overview This role will be instrumental in developing and executing Virbac US Digital B2B & B2C strategies and Omni-Channel initiatives which are key pillars of our future growth. The Digital manager will oversee the company's online presence, managing digital marketing campaigns, eLearning platform, websites, email marketing (B2B & B2C) and social media strategies.
In addition to the Digital responsibilities, a critical piece for this role would be the Management of our Business partner “Vetcove”, which serves as a purchasing platform to help veterinarian clinics conduct product research and order smarter and easier from suppliers they already leverage. Clinics can compare prices, and purchase from various vendors. We have implemented loyalty and cashback programs via this platform where ~70% of veterinarian clinics purchase their products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms including Vetcove, company owned websites, email, and social media. Primary focus currently is on B2B initiatives.
Manage and optimize company-owned digital properties (B2B, B2C sites) and third-party platforms. Ensuring optimal website design and user experience, focusing on navigation and system security, UX/UI enhancements.
Vetcove: Manage the Virbac sponsorship of Vetcove including ongoing cash back campaigns to determine ROI, assess Vet clinic loyalty program and maintain content & promotional calendar. Refine and provide cash back recommendations to brand teams on specific discounts proven to drive positive ROI.
Iterate and adapt our Loyalty program within the Vetcove environment while communicating such program insights to internal teams and sales force.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Commercial teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to align digital initiatives with business goals.
Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI, ensuring the company's online presence effectively supports our business goals. Creating POs and building a financial tracker with monthly progress.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
Utilize various marketing platforms such as Salesforce, GA4, Lytho, Asana, and Salsify for day-to-day operations and reporting.
Building Consumer journeys and refining and iterating current communication strategies.
Follow an online competitive landscape and adapt strategy to best serve the interests of Virbac and to keep pace with competitors’ websites best practices (including content elements). Keep up to date with online, software, data and web technology trends, introducing additional functionality to enhance the site.
With analytic tools, monitor site performance metrics, such as time for Web pages to load, total numbers of site visitors by product or page, bounce rates, time on page and referrals to give detailed insight and in-depth analysis. Recommend changes to improve performance. Provide reports on all features (sales, free goods, budget, inventory) whenever required.
Minimum & Desired Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
3+ years experience managing website implementation and optimization (front and backend)
CRM Experience - 3 years minimum
Background utilizing webmaster platforms: Shopify, or Drupal, Big Commerce, Word Press or Magento
Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit and passion for strong data analytics & insights
Skill Set Required
Webmastering : Understand web quality rules, page speed, and image optimization.
Marketing automation : set up basic to advanced journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, monitor and optimize the campaigns continuously.
SEO Expertise : Apply advanced search engine optimization techniques.
Content Creation : Develop compelling content based on the A+ framework.
Digital Asset Management contribution
Localization & Translation : Implement streamlined processes for content localization (Import/ export).
A/B Testing: Employ A/B testing tools for content and feature optimization.
User behavior Analysis : Utilize heat map tools for continuous improvement.
Global Collaboration : Efficiently collaborate with global teams.
Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify issues (tickets via easyIT) and suggest improvements by writing specification documents for local data driven needs (with real local business use cases & data proven impacts demonstration) following SCRUM Style
Additional Skills
Omnichannel understanding : to recognize the interplay between different sales channels - brick and mortar, direct and indirect eCommerce synergies
Trend Monitoring : Stay updated on the latest in AI, content formats, and paid media. fully up to date on local paid media, social media, content format, AI trends (eg : chatbot, AI based Marketing segmentation, content creation)
Building dashboards - Utilizing Lookerstudio : Monitor site metrics such as page speed, bounce rate, and more.
