What Product And Solutions Marketing Contributes To Cardinal Health Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.
Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Job Summary The Product Manager, Product & Solutions Marketing Outbound Products executes marketing strategies for products to differentiate Cardinal Health’s products and to grow revenue, market share, and customer awareness. Based on Marketing strategies and initiatives outlined by leadership, the Product Manager develops marketing content and campaigns specific to outbound services. This job coordinates cross-functionally to gain insights and alignment across relevant stakeholders, manages relationships with suppliers, and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle, from launch to retirement, of shipment tracking products, including market analysis, positioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor performance metrics, gather customer insights, and adjust strategies to improve results specific to product portfolio.
Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring marketing strategies reflect user needs and preferences.
Partner to develop and implement data-driven pricing models that competitiveness, customer value, and profitability based on ongoing customer and business insights. Monitor P&L performance.
Design and execute promotional campaigns to drive adoption and engagement, in collaboration with marketing communications and sales enablement teams. Evaluate quality and alignment with marketing objectives, and coordinate with Legal team to ensure that all content is compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals such as trade show strategies, sales incentives, and collateral creation.
In coordination with upstream Product Management and Development teams, design launch for new products, including positioning, marketing mix, and promotions. Manage Sales enablement trainings to ensure that teams have all necessary information to efficient commercialization of the product.
Perform straightforward analyses of data from marketing campaigns. Coordinate with business intelligence teams or external vendors as necessary to track performance.
Participate in industry conferences and other events in order to promote Cardinal Health’s products and services and to stay abreast of market developments.
10% expected travel
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Familiarity with logistics
Familiarity with agile methodology, preferred
Experience working independently, using good judgment and leadership abilities to manage short and long-term priorities and projects
Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, deal structure and assessing financial implications
Demonstrates basic knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business & marketing plan, this includes identifying the appropriate channels to market. Has the ability to understand market trends and competitive positioning and can establish and/or adjust the product offering
Proficient in mining data and interpreting findings to solve problems and tell a story
Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Maintains a positive attitude with a focus on creative solutions and strong internal partnerships
Anticipated salary range $80,900 - $103,950
