Employment & Commercial Litigation Counsel – Law Firm – Strategic and Expanding Practice Our client, an ascending and growing law firm in Northern New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Employment & Commercial Litigation Counsel to join its growing practice. This role leans into meaningful client interaction, leadership collaboration, and the opportunity to play an integral role in the continued growth of a firm recognized for its professionalism and client-centered approach. The firm offers an environment that values sound judgment, professionalism, and long‑term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of litigation experience, with a primary focus on employment matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants, and employment contract disputes. Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills are essential, as is the ability to manage cases independently while providing strategic counsel to clients. Experience handling commercial litigation matters—such as breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and fiduciary duty claims—will be viewed as a valuable complement.

This role will work closely with and support both the Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice and the Chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice, handling matters generated from their active client bases. This provides an excellent platform for a motivated attorney to deepen client relationships, gain broad exposure across industries, and contribute to sophisticated litigation and advisory matters.

Candidates must be barred in New Jersey and admitted in New York. Compensation is in the $180K–$210K range, plus liberal bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
