We are seeking a motivated professional to support our growth and marketing initiatives in the community. This is a full‑time, exempt position with a competitive salary and bonus potential.
Base salary $60,000.00/yr – $62,000.00/yr
Location In Office
Job Overview As the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to generate new business and strengthen relationships with key referral sources. Your work will directly impact the company’s growth and success.
Essential Responsibilities
Analyze market conditions and trends to identify business opportunities.
Identify new markets and business development opportunities.
Identify local influence centers (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, doctors’ offices, etc.) to determine lead sources.
Develop and manage new referral sources through face‑to‑face meetings, networking, and digital strategies.
Create blueprint and sales strategy.
Perform client assessments and coordinate with office staff to ensure timely client start dates.
Arrange meetings with individuals responsible for referral services.
Use the monthly marketing calendar to coordinate activity with national focus.
Present Senior Helpers services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctors’ offices, and private companies.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events representing Senior Helpers.
Manage marketing and advertising methods, including social media, digital marketing, direct mail, print ads, and networking.
Maintain and manage a CRM system.
Analyze weekly activity reports, KPIs, and marketing data to strategize client acquisition.
Provide weekly reports to the owner summarizing activities and strategy for the upcoming week.
Meet and exceed sales objectives.
Represent the company with professionalism at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Work independently and as a team player with initiative.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
Excellent phone and follow‑up skills with prospects and key referral personnel.
Proactive problem‑solving and leadership ability.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to develop partnerships and secure buy‑in from others.
Understanding of SMART and other performance goals.
Ability to travel to referral sources within Northern Queens, NY.
Availability to report to the office near Astoria‑Ditmars Blvd N/W station when requested.
Ability to operate safely in the workplace.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
1+ year of experience in the home health industry (3+ years preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.
Rapid learner of new software applications.
Any appropriate combination of the above qualifications.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
Communicate effectively with others.
Acquire information from a variety of sources.
Operate a computer while remaining in a stationary position for extended periods.
Maintain alertness and operate safely at all times.
