Senior Graphic Designer Job at CatFace in Austin

CatFace is a leading merchandise and digital entertainment company behind the popular YouTube channel “AphMau” and the “MeeMeows” line of cat plushies. We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead our design team and create on‑brand visual content across media, packaging, e‑commerce and more.

What You’ll Do

• Design Leadership: Inspire the design team, provide mentorship, establish high quality design standards and review all deliverables.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, coordinate with stakeholders, allocate resources and meet deadlines.
• Concept Development: Develop creative concepts and design strategies that align with brand and marketing goals, conduct brainstorming and trend research sessions.
• High‑Level Design Work: Create graphics, illustrations, and layouts for print, digital, packaging and social media platforms, ensuring designs are optimized for different media formats.
• Brand Consistency & Development: Spearhead, maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all design projects, work with upper management to evolve brand identity.

What We’re Looking For

• Four to five years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency.
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Five or more years of experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational and time‑management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lead and provide direction to team members.

Bonus

• Experience with chibi/kawaii/cute aesthetics.
• Experience with digital content creators.
