Key Skills
- 6+ years of UX research experience, ideally across multiple industries (banking preferred).
- Strong quantitative research skills (e.g., survey design, data analysis, interpretation).
- Proven experience with usability testing and applying design principles.
- Highly organized and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Collaborative mindset – open to feedback, eager and confident to share work in progress.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives including usability testing, surveys, nomenclature studies, etc.
- Apply both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights that influence product strategy.
- Develop and execute research plans that address team questions and project goals.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable findings for cross‑functional teams (design, product, content across US and CA markets).
- Communicate findings effectively across all levels, including executive stakeholders.
- Champion inclusive and transparent research processes and foster team alignment.
Job Details
- Contract Type: 12‑month contract (full‑time)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, paid weekly.
- Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid)
- W2 employment.
- Portfolio required.
- Salary: $50.00 – $55.00/hr.
