Bluegrass Musicians
to join our live entertainment team! We’re looking for versatile performers who can bring the toe‑tappin’, hand‑clappin’ sound of the Old West to life for guests from all over the world. Ideal candidates will have experience performing traditional and contemporary bluegrass music, strong stage presence, and a warm, engaging personality that embodies “The Friendliest Place in the West.” This role is compensated at a rate of $25.00/hr.

Explain what it is about Knott’s that makes you want to join us.
Let us know what instruments you can play and if you can sing.
Indicate how many days a week you are hoping to work.
State what song you have selected to play and whether you will be singing along.
Play up to 3 minutes of an upbeat/up‑tempo bluegrass selection.
Show as much of yourself as possible, including your face and the instrument you’re playing.
Perform live bluegrass music for park guests in scheduled shows and atmosphere sets.
Maintain a consistent level of energy, authenticity, and professionalism throughout each set.
Interact with guests in a friendly, approachable, and entertaining manner.
Collaborate with other musicians, stage managers, and entertainment staff to ensure high‑quality performances.
Maintain musical instruments and show materials in good condition.
Adhere to all Knott’s Berry Farm safety, show, and performance standards.
Proven experience performing bluegrass music (solo or ensemble).
Ability to sing and harmonize is a strong plus.
Multi‑instrumental skills (banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, upright bass, etc.) are highly desirable.
Excellent stage presence and guest engagement skills.
Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Outgoing, upbeat, and naturally friendly personality.
Reliable, team‑oriented, and punctual.
Comfortable performing outdoors and engaging with diverse audiences.
