The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Business Development team is seeking a motivated, high performing Senior Business Development Field Marketing Representative (Level 5) in Lemoore, CA, or China Lake, CA. The position will support customer needs, develop customer requirements, gain competitive advantage and foster Boeing’s business growth by creating, maintaining and advancing customer relationships toward a trusted business partner, while delivering customer understanding and achieving sales and orders for BDS and BGS (Boeing Global Services). This role supports BDS and BGS leaders with knowledge of customer priorities, program execution issues, capability gaps, and the development of opportunities, customer engagement plans, campaign capture plans and win strategies. Position Responsibilities

Must be able to develop and maintain unparalleled customer understanding to support Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) business, and represent The Boeing Company to key US Navy operational customers in the Lemoore and China Lake area focusing on growing the business and retaining existing programs. Lead the development of customer relationships to better understand the customer’s requirements, enduring needs and decision-making processes. Develop an understanding of relevant BDS/BGS programs and new business initiatives. Convey the company’s capabilities to the customer and communicate customer requirements to company management and senior leaders. Lead the support of BGS, Air Dominance, Cruise and Missile Systems (CMS), Autonomous Systems (AS) and Phantom Works (PW) Business Units (BU) new business pursuits in the Lemoore and China Lake area. Establish and maintain close relationships between Global Marketing and the BU to present a single Boeing face to the customer. Participate in BDS Global Sales & Marketing strategy execution and market shaping activities to help BDS grow into adjacencies and expand internationally, and to execute current programs to satisfy customers and extend core business. Provide leadership and support international business pursuits, including working with USPACFLT, Naval Air Force Pacific, Strike Fighter Wing Pacific (SFWP), Carrier Air Wings and subordinate commands to support Boeing campaigns. Coordinate among Boeing businesses and Global Marketing Offices when working with US Government customers and supporting agencies worldwide. Lead and participate in local industry groups/associations and community professional associations to enhance Boeing’s image as a good neighbor and community partner. Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and a can-do mindset; this is a high-visibility role with potential for long-term career development within the Business Development & Marketing function. Act as a two-way conduit between Boeing corporate and operational commands. Coordinate site visits to Central Valley area (CSFWP, SFWP, FRC-W, NAWCWD, Air Test and Evaluation, and Marine Aviation Divisions) and high-level Navy visits to St. Louis. Work with BDS and BGS on FA-18 Service Life Modification and FA-18 sustainment, and with BDS, BGS, and Navy equities for FA-18 training both ashore and afloat. Advocate for Boeing FSRs; provide flight line inputs to inform Boeing IRAD decisions and product development (MQ, T-7, CCA, New simulator). Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Experience with DOD and/or government acquisition processes 15+ years of experience as a Naval Aviator Experience with Naval Warfare requirements, acquisition, and OPNAV PPBE process Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships with key stakeholders in the United States Navy requirements organization and/or procurement organization Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Active U.S. Top Secret Security/SCI clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance Recently retired Aviation Warfare O-6 with Major Command experience and involvement in CONOPs development and Naval Warfare Requirements generation 10+ years of experience interfacing directly with military officials and executives Knowledge of OPNAV staff, Major Commands and Combatant Commands and USN capability areas Graduate from National/Service War Colleges is desired Strong understanding of Lemoore and China Lake area customers and missions (USFFC, Naval Air Force Pacific, CSFWP, Carrier Air Wing, etc.) Expertise in Naval Warfare Requirements, acquisition and OPNAV PPBE processes; current knowledge of US Fleet Forces Command roles and missions Ability to articulate thoughts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior customers and Boeing executives Proven ability to build long-term relationships by understanding current and future customer needs and delivering on commitments Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and complete work accurately and on time Ability to lead teams across multiple BUs and functions Ethical behavior, honesty and accountability Willingness to take on additional assignments as the market and customers evolve Experience contributing to pursuit/capture teams and proposal reviews (a plus) Ability to brief at the highest levels and represent Boeing as a community partner Familiarity with Boeing BDS concepts of operations is a plus Relocation and Travel

Total Rewards: Competitive base pay and variable compensation; eligibility for broad benefits and programs as applicable by location. Salary Range: $145,350 to $196,650.
