Purpose of Position: A restaurant expeditor is a food establishment employee who acts as a link between food preparation staff and service staff. They coordinate food orders, preparation, and delivery to ensure the prompt and correct filling of orders. They also inspect dishes to confirm they meet restaurant food quality standards. They may work in large, fine-dining, or fast-food establishments, where they also fill drinks, wrap sandwiches, and perform other food prep tasks. They help maintain the efficiency of a restaurant kitchen and the flow of items from the kitchen to the table. Support the operation to deliver Superior Guest Service by delivering food and beverages to guests promptly. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly. Keep the wash area clean and organized. Deliver food to guests in a timely manner, adhering to all company standards. Perform cleaning duties. Follow safe food handling and proper hygiene practices. Adhere to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment and report any malfunctions immediately. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Coordinate the delivery of all food items within appropriate time standards. Ensure every food item is accounted for. Follow management’s instructions and suggestions. Qualifications:

Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours, use hands to handle objects, reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally. Must be able to hear well in noisy environments and occasionally immerse hands in hot water. Work Environment:
