Product Marketing Manager

Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for analyzing the market, its ecosystem and competitive dynamics, ultimately owning the business requirements for the innovation project; contributing to developing the future product vision that best meets market expectations; proposing and supporting actions aimed at developing the value proposition (including key differentiating messages) and acquiring a differentiating competitive positioning; leading testing, promotion and distribution strategy for new ideas; creating marketing tools such as customer presentations and demonstrators; implementing digital marketing techniques and supporting the innovation project team. In a fast-paced innovation environment, the PMM will translate customer and market needs into a vision with clear, differentiated value proposition elements to increase order intake and net margin, supported by evidence-based market needs, competitive positioning and pricing and value analysis. The PMM will work collaboratively with Strategy, Business Development, Customer Success and Product Delivery teams to hand over the product to execution, ensuring market demand aligns with strategic business plan and gross margin. Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead analysis of market trends, customer needs, segmentation and competition positioning, defining and updating market requirements. Collaborate with Customer Success to map customer requirements to product strategy, identifying gaps and developing plans. Research industry pain points to uncover opportunities and selling aspects, and investigate new trends in hardware, software and digital content. Define a winning product action plan and manage delivery of marketing artifacts, including roadmaps, early access programs and go‑to‑market plans. Act as primary thought leader, supporting sales, representing Thales at events, and developing the product’s value proposition. Develop and refine pricing strategies based on total value of operations analysis, ensuring attractive ROI. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, General Business, Entrepreneurship STEM or related field with 8+ years of experience; or HS diploma with 15+ years of experience. Experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management in telecommunications, media digital services, or inflight entertainment and communications. Strong analytical ability with proficiency in pricing, ROI, TCO, TVO analysis, market analysis and competitive intelligence. Proven experience developing effective marketing material. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Certification in value-based pricing and offer development. Certification in Product Marketing. Experience in high-technology product development and/or engineering management. Experience in innovation projects and associated methods (C‑K, design thinking, Blue Ocean). High proficiency in Excel and data analytics applied to marketing. Special Position Requirements
Schedule: Core business hours Monday‑Friday, 9/80 work week eligible; may be required to work outside core hours. Physical Environment: Office environment, demo lab. Travel: 20 – 40% domestic and international travel required. What We Offer
The anticipated TTC range for this role is $131,520.00 – $219,200.00 USD Annual. The company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits.
