Job Overview Responsible for overseeing the onsite design implementation and installation of audio/video content of assigned Entertainment projects of various scale, to include marquee events, park theatrical entertainment, press events, and special projects, while also maintaining Entertainment audio/video assets.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the AV management team, in addition to vendors and other partners, to ensure proper implementation of AV designs on assigned projects.
Attend project meetings as required, facilitating the exchange of information between all stakeholders.
Work with the AV Technical team and project management to present needs and solutions for design changes and challenges in order to maintain the creative vision and design intent.
Support the accuracy of AV Technical project drawings.
Assist with the development of system design based on project specifications and needs.
Act as a conduit of information between project teams and AV Management on assigned projects.
Assist with content install and changes with AV vendors throughout the duration of assigned projects.
Maintain documents and system files to ensure proper archiving of all AV content.
Input, maintain, and track content implementation for all Entertainment Creative Development.
Perform quality checks for ongoing creative elements, including reviewing daily show reports and other documentation as appropriate.
Assist AV Management with task partnership with the Entertainment AV Technical Department on assigned projects.
Interact with Entertainment Operations for scheduling of talent as needed.
Provide expert troubleshooting for complex AV systems.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
Benefits This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in live entertainment or themed environments with emphasis in audio/video system design and/or implementation.
Solid understanding of QSC Q‑SYS programming.
Minimum 5 years of experience in theatrical or entertainment audio/video design, implementation, or production.
Extensive theme park experience in technical audio/video production for live theatrical entertainment.
Strong working knowledge of various software programs, including but not limited to Q‑SYS, QLab, Reaper, Mainstage, Pro Tools, Dante, and IT networking protocols.
Strong working knowledge of various hardware systems, including Yamaha, Allen & Heath, and QSC digital audio consoles, along with Blackmagic, Brightsign, and Gilderfluke products.
Desired Characteristics
Strong understanding of the production processes and operational demands of live entertainment within a theme park or immersive experience setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with effective time management, prioritization, and delegation skills.
Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, collaboration, and driving results through clear communication and mentorship.
