About the Team & Role The Compliance team at Robinhood Securities, LLC ("RHS") and Robinhood Financial, LLC ("RHF") drives a culture of compliance that supports people, processes, and technologies vital to our business. We strive to implement effective compliance programs to protect customers, promote market integrity, and reduce regulatory, financial, operational and reputational risk.
The Senior Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, advising, auditing, and approving retail communications content—including advertising and marketing—to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. The role supports internal stakeholders in Marketing, Social, Communications, Public Relations, Research, and Product teams on compliance guidelines for projects and customer‑facing communications.
This role is based in our New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, and Lake Mary, FL offices, requiring in‑person attendance at least 3 days per week. The work schedule is flexible within each location to support a high‑performing team.
What You’ll Do Day‑to‑Day
Principal review (approve) communications with the public ("CwP") materials to ensure they meet regulatory and internal standards.
Review, analyze, and advise stakeholders on compliance and internal guideline adherence.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase quality and scalability.
Establish program efficiencies and enhance processes within the team.
Build strong relationships and align compliance strategy among different stakeholders.
Guide internal customers on compliance for projects and deliverables.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree.
FINRA Series 7 and 24; Series 4 is not required but must be obtained within 120 days of starting.
7+ years of experience in compliance or a related function.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a changing environment.
Strong written, verbal, strategic, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the financial services industry within compliance, audit, risk, marketing, or communication.
Benefits & Compensation In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.
Base pay is location‑dependent and aligned to one of three compensation zones.
Zone 1 (Manhattan, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $140,000 – $165,000 USD.
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $123,000 – $145,000 USD.
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $110,000 – $129,000 USD.
