VTS
We’re looking for a
Senior Product Designer
to join our growing design team and help shape the future of commercial real estate technology. We are hiring for multiple business segments, where you could work across one of several key product areas: Leasing & Asset Management (LMD):
complex leasing workflows and portfolio-level insights. Activate:
tenant and workplace engagement, operations, and amenity services. Multifamily:
resident experience, property team operations, and building services. As a Senior Product Designer at VTS, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end design - from research and discovery through prototyping, testing, and delivery. You’ll apply
user research and JTBD methodology
to uncover opportunities, especially where
AI and agentic workflows
can transform how our users work. Please note that this opportunity is located in New York, NY, and requires this hire to work from our office four days a week. Here is what you can expect as a Senior Product Designer:
Lead the design of features across web and mobile for one of our core product areas. Run user research, discovery interviews, and JTBD analyses to uncover unmet needs. Run usability tests and experiments to validate design decisions and measure impact. Explore AI and agentic design opportunities; collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to integrate agentic intelligence into workflows. Prototype and validate solutions rapidly, iterating with users and stakeholders. Present design rationale clearly to stakeholders and influence decision-making. Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistent cross-platform experiences. Mentor peers, share work in design reviews, and help shape our design culture. Ship high-impact features that measurably improve adoption, efficiency, or satisfaction. Deliver a JTBD research report identifying at least 3 validated agentic opportunities. Improve usability of a core workflow through design system or interaction updates. Build trusted cross-functional relationships and influence roadmap decisions. To succeed in this role, you have:
5+ years in product design, with shipped web and mobile products. Strong UX research background (JTBD, usability testing, analytics). Experience designing multi-user workflows with multiple dependencies. Portfolio that demonstrates user-centered process, system thinking, and impact. Strong communication skills; able to influence design and non-design stakeholders. Thrives in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and is a self-starter. Preferred/Bonus Skills
Experience designing AI-powered or agentic workflows. Background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or proptech. Familiarity with real estate, financial, or operational platforms. About VTS
