Marketing Design & Production Coordinator
– Jump Start Stores, Inc. (Wichita, KS) Part Time to Full Time Jump Start is seeking a creative & highly motivated professional to join our marketing team. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as you’ll work closely with multiple departments—including Category Management, Merchandising, Distribution, and Price Book—as well as external vendors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our print and digital signage programs are executed smoothly, on time, and with attention to detail. Primary Job Responsibilities
Reports to Wichita Corporate Office; this is not a remote work opportunity. Set your own schedule with a minimum of 30 office hours per week between 8am-5pm, Monday‑Friday. Design and procure print signage for new items, existing products, limited time offers, and merchandising campaigns, negotiating pricing and timelines with external suppliers. Collaborate to design and develop a wide range of static and animated signage, ensuring brand consistency, accurate pricing, and clear messaging. Create new retail solutions from concept to completion, including tactic kitting and deployment. Maintain clear communication channels across departments and with external partners to support signage initiatives. Oversee signage production, fulfillment, inventory coordination, and logistics. Analyze campaign redemption data in coordination with Category Management to refine and optimize insert advertising strategies. Campaign Design & Creative Projects
Graphic design and campaign development for retail sales floor and internal communication projects. Develop systems and structures for asset libraries and communication calendars. Contribute creative ideas that align with the company’s vision and brand identity. Create and implement efficient processes to build the team’s art department. Liaison & Coordination
Write creative briefs and coordinate workflow across multiple departments. Act as a point of contact between outside talent and internal teams. Coordinate project management efforts, ensuring clear communication and timely project completion. Video Design & Animation (Preferred)
Collaborate on video design and animation projects with the production team. Qualifications
Organized individual with the ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently. Proficient in proofreading to ensure error‑free content. Highly self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Collaborative, efficient teamwork across many departments. Strong analytical skills: define opportunities, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and make valid conclusions; possess excellent math skills. Education & Professional Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent; minimum two years related experience. Understanding of marketing principles. Knowledge of the retail environment to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of loyalty initiatives. Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong command of Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications. Retail design experience preferred. Pre‑production work a plus. Personal Attributes
Creative vision, imagination, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude. Competitive spirit and drive to be part of a winning team. Additional Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Flexible availability during business hours with a standard in‑office schedule (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM).
