We have an opening for an Assistant, Business Development & Marketing. The Assistant, Business Development & Marketing provides critical coordinative and administrative support to the Business Development team. Based in the firm’s New York office, this position plays a key role in the execution of the firm’s marketing and Business Development initiatives. The assistant works closely with Business Development Department team members, attorneys and administrative departments across the firm to ensure effective delivery of Business Development services and consistent execution of the firm's brand.
Responsibilities
Support the firm’s recognition team by maintaining internal awards and directories folders and trackers; manage awards and directories calendar and monitor upcoming deadlines; coordinate internal notifications of deadlines and support drafting and compiling submissions;
Submit expense reports, process invoices and assist with departmental budgeting and tracking;
Manage internal meeting scheduling, maintain event and project calendars, coordinate conference room bookings and assist with other logistics;
Assist in the preparation, proofreading and formatting of pitches, proposals, presentations and brochures;
Maintain internal content libraries including attorney bios, firm overviews, practice descriptions and matter experience;
Provide logistical and administrative support for client-facing and internal events, including sponsorships, webinars and conferences.
Proficiencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; familiarity with CRM systems and experience databases is a plus;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (required);
At least 1 year of experience in a professional services or law firm environment (preferred);
A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $51,700 and a maximum of $64,400 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
