Fire Protection Designer Location: Rogers, Arkansas As part of the Buildings Group for Garver, this
Fire Protection Designer
will be responsible for developing fire protection designs in support of various Buildings Business Line projects. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and commissioning: Building fire protection systems Building fire suppression systems Building fire alarm systems This role also involves coordination with other support disciplines and regional offices, assisting fire protection engineers, and following quality assurance and control plans. Abilities and attributes needed:
Knowledge of fire protection, suppression, and alarm principles Interfacing with project teams during design, delivery, and construction Managing project budgets and schedules Designing fire protection systems throughout the project lifecycle Utilizing BIM software for drawings Using calculation tools for design calculations Managing multiple assignments concurrently Time management and quality focus Adherence to QA/QC plans Commitment to ongoing education and team needs Minimum Requirements:
5-10 years of building fire protection design and construction experience Knowledge of fire protection engineering principles Proven experience with detailed plans and specifications Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with Autodesk Revit Proficiency in MS Office Suite Preferred Skills:
NICET certification in Fire Protection Experience with AIA MasterSpec Knowledge of Federal Agency design criteria Grow With Us
