Role Description PUBLSH is growing quickly and looking for a Product Marketing Manager to manage the go‑to‑market strategy and launch of our products, including positioning, messaging, and marketing. This role drives demand and adoption by understanding our target audience and the competitive landscape, and then translating product features into compelling value propositions for the market. The ideal candidate has worked in the games industry, loves to play video‑games, and has a good pulse on what’s happening in the industry.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent professional experience).
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Brand Management, or a related role in the gaming industry.
Game Development Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the full game development lifecycle, including concept, pre‑production, vertical slice, alpha, beta, and live service/post‑launch phases.
Strategic & Analytical:
Data‑driven
mindset with strong analytical skills to interpret market data and campaign results.
Tool Proficiency:
Expert‑level command of project management tools (e.g.,
Jira , Asana, Trello) and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheet).
Soft Skills:
Excellent presentation skills – including communication, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational & time‑management
Active listening
Strategic and critical thinking

Experience with
Live Service
development, including running content updates and managing community feedback loops is a plus

Responsibilities Product Positioning & Messaging:
Develop and own the compelling, differentiated
product positioning
and
messaging
that resonates with target buyer personas.
Translate product features and technical details into clear, value‑based benefits for customers.
Go‑to‑Market (GTM) Strategy & Launches:
Plan and execute successful
product launches
and new feature releases across all relevant channels.
Lead cross‑functional GTM teams, ensuring alignment with Product, Sales, and Corporate Marketing.
Market & Customer Intelligence:
Conduct in‑depth
market research
to understand the competitive landscape and identify market opportunities.
Gather and synthesize
customer insights
and feedback (e.g., through surveys, interviews, and data analysis) to inform product strategy and marketing campaigns.
Sales Enablement:
Create
sales enablement materials
(e.g., battlecards, competitive analysis, pitch decks, case studies, product datasheets) to equip the Sales team to effectively sell the product.
Conduct training sessions to ensure internal teams can confidently articulate the product's value proposition.
Content & Campaign Strategy:
Collaborate with the Content and Demand Generation teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, product content, and thought leadership that drives awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition/retention.
Performance Analysis:
Track and report on key product marketing metrics (e.g., product adoption, feature usage, conversion rates, GTM success) to measure impact and inform future strategies.
