Position Overview:
The mission of The University Daily Kansan is to serve as a primary, credible news source for the University community. Job Description: 50%: Editing assignments made by content generators. 40%: Making assignments to content generators. 10%: Attending meetings and training. Required Qualifications: During the semester term, the student must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods, the student must: Have been enrolled in at least 6 hours in the past spring semester, or Be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in at least 6 hours, or Be enrolled in summer session, or Be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments do not apply to Student Hourly appointments. Preferred Qualifications:

N/A Employment Conditions: Student employees are
not
eligible for remote work unless approved by unit leadership and HR. This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student cannot hold both an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt position concurrently. Additional Candidate Instructions:
