Role Description This is a full-time on‑site role for a Television News Reporter located in Albuquerque, NM. The Television News Reporter will be responsible for reporting on local and state news, conducting interviews, writing news scripts, and presenting stories on‑air. The reporter will work closely with the news team to ensure accurate and ethical news coverage. The role involves attending press conferences, covering live events, creating a robust list of sources and contacts, uncovering important local stories, and maintaining a strong presence in the community.
Qualifications
Experience in Television News and Broadcasting
Proficiency in Broadcast Journalism and Reporting
Strong skills in News Writing and scriptwriting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
Previous on‑air experience is a plus
Experience with multimedia journalism and social media platforms is beneficial
