Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic, sales-savvy Studio Manager to drive membership growth, foster community, and lead a high-performing team. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for fitness, exceptional sales skills, and a knack for building lasting relationships. You’ll spearhead pre-opening sales, recruit top talent, and ensure our studio delivers an unparalleled member experience. Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Phase: Sales & Community Building
Drive membership growth through studio tours, outbound calls (50+ daily to warm leads, trial participants, and expired members), and community events. Exceed monthly sales targets by mastering objection handling and aligning memberships with client goals. Develop referral programs, member appreciation events, and engagement initiatives to boost acquisition. Represent Pilates Addiction at local events, pop-ups, and brand collaborations to elevate brand awareness. Dedicate 5+ hours weekly to grassroots outreach and submit weekly reports to the Regional Manager. Team Leadership & Recruitment
Recruit, interview, and onboard top-tier Pilates Educators and Sales Associates. Train and coach team members on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and community-building strategies. Lead by example, modeling professionalism, sales expertise, and a member-first mindset. Post-Opening Phase: Studio Operations & Engagement
Oversee studio operations, ensuring KPIs are met (revenue, conversion rates, retention, and labor efficiency). Build and manage studio schedules while adhering to labor budgets. Maintain a pristine, fully functional studio, coordinating maintenance and inventory. Develop retention strategies, fostering genuine member relationships and celebrating milestones. Oversee social media, digital signage, and communications, collaborating with the Marketing team. Plan monthly in-studio events and member-exclusive activities to enhance engagement. Maintain a 4.9+ rating across platforms by generating 5-star Google reviews monthly. Qualifications
Proven sales experience, ideally in fitness, boutique studios, or membership-driven environments. Exceptional objection-handling skills, building trust and value with prospective members. High-energy, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Comfortable making 50+ daily outbound calls and following up consistently. Leadership experience in recruiting, training, and managing teams. Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-building.
