Hiring Range: $20.67 - $32.69 per hour

About This Position The Graphic Designer works closely with the Housing and Residential Life Communications Coordinator to provide support in creative communication, graphic design, videos and overall strategic marketing for all Housing and Residential Life projects. Design services will reflect established graphic and visual standards, based on university, departmental and program philosophy. The graphic designer works independently and creatively to design and produce unique, attention‑getting marketing materials and is the lead designer. Delegates work to student staff, provides constructive feedback, and oversees timeliness and creation of work. All other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Housing and Residential Life Communications Coordinator.
Design and produce marketing materials and videos.
Maintain and uphold graphic and visual standards.
Lead design projects and delegate tasks to student staff.
Provide constructive feedback and oversee project timeliness.
Required Qualifications
High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before the agreed upon start date).
Two years of work‑related experience (post‑secondary education may be substituted).
Competency in Adobe products: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat; knowledge of digital and print design, typography, photography, videography, and animation.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing or related field.
Seven years of related work experience.
Experience with Sprout Social, Trello, and Omni preferred.
