Technical Writer for the Alstom Services Department, delivering narratives for Operation and Maintenance or Overhauls proposals Prepare and finalise narratives taking in account the technical content as well as the communication and sales direction of the bid Contribute to deliver a winning proposal to the customer in a timely manner RESPONSIBILITIES
Write narratives based on technical content specifically designed for the offer, as well as past references proposals Be able to understand enough of the technical content so as to be able to describe and summarize the topics Follow bid proposal process and lead proposal reviews Lead the preparation of the documentation to submit to the customer: technical description, clause by clause, schedule, administrative documents Ensure compliance with applicable Alstom rules & instructions Prepare English (American) as well as French texts Integrated in a bid team composed of a Bid Manager, a Bid Technical Manager and a Cost Manager DESIRED PROFILE
Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering or any relevant field Experience in railway industry, or operation and maintenance of tranport system, an asset Education or strong interest in railway or transport industry , an asset High Communications skills, synthesys and presentation Good proficiency of AI tools, translating tools, text generation tool Fluent in English and French Localisation in Saint Bruno, in the area of Montreal You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
