Designers collaborate with land development engineering teams, providing high-accuracy work with quick turnaround times. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Assist in designing and producing civil engineering construction documents and conceptual site plans. Complete civil utility and site designs, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, HGL modeling, fire flow, and stormwater management. Develop site grading plans, perform earthworks calculations, and handle sediment/erosion control design and permitting. Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, project teams, contractors, and owners. Work alongside project teams from concept through construction, adhering to company standards across various projects. Qualifications
Four-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited program. 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with a strong desire to improve oneself, the project team, and the community. Candidates should be prepared to provide work samples and/or complete a CAD assessment. Preferences
EI certification on the path to PE is preferred. Experience with storm drain, sanitary sewer, water distribution networks, and site grading is preferred. Equal Opportunity Employment
