has an immediate career opportunity for an
AutoCAD Civil 3D Site CAD Designer
to support our infrastructure operations. We are seeking an individual with good enthusiasm, strong communication and technical skills. The ideal candidate has strong work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, is dedicated to working in a team environment and is committed to quality products. Responsibilities
Assist with the design development of simple to complex site layouts and drawings from general written or verbal instructions from project team leaders Work with the project team to maximize the use of new or existing sites to meet client needs within a defined schedule Create a wide range of preliminary to detailed design drawings for site developments that are unique in style and function Prepare grading plan drawings for new or existing sites that require the understanding of earth contours, topographic survey data, proposed slopes and grades, section and detail design drawings for new or existing facilities Prepare drainage plan drawings that include overland flows, site flows, drainage inlets, drainage flumes, drainage culverts, retention and detention ponds Solid understanding of discipline-specific CAD standards Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare design and construction drawings Associate or higher degree in AutoCAD is required Solid skills in verbal and writing skills plus have high attention to detail Solid skills to read and understand both 2D and 3D drawings Must work well in a project team environment, as well as have the capacity to conduct work with minimal supervision and oversight Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company\'s driving (MVR) policy About WSP
