Plumbing Designer
North Little Rock, Arkansas As part of the Buildings Group for Garver, this
Plumbing Designer
will be responsible for developing plumbing designs supporting various Buildings Business Line projects. Responsibilities include leading the planning, design, and commissioning of: Building domestic water systems Building sanitary sewer systems Building roof/storm drain systems This role also involves coordination with other support disciplines and regional offices, assisting engineers with plumbing system design, and following quality assurance and control plans. Abilities and Attributes Needed:
Knowledge of building plumbing system principles Experience interfacing with project teams during design, delivery, and construction Managing project budgets and schedules Designing plumbing systems throughout project phases from conceptual to construction Proficiency with BIM software for drawing production Using software-based calculation tools for design calculations Managing multiple assignments concurrently Strong time management and quality focus Adherence to QA/QC plans Commitment to continuing education based on project and team needs Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in building plumbing system design and construction Strong knowledge of building plumbing system principles Proven experience with detailed plumbing system plans and specifications Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with Autodesk Revit Proficiency in MS Office Suite Preferred Skills:
Medical gas system design experience Petroleum, oil, and lubricating (POL) system design experience Food service plumbing systems design experience Fire sprinkler system design experience Experience with AIA MasterSpec Grow With Us
