Overview
In the role of Interior Design Coordinator, we count on you to support interior design focused employees who are not NCIDQ certificate holders. This position is typically for individuals fresh out of college who are working to fulfill the required employment hours to sit for the NCIDQ examination. The candidate should demonstrate solid design thinking and strong knowledge of design fundamentals as reflected in their college portfolio. Strong communication skills (oral and written) are essential, with the ability to clearly present and explain a design concept to supervisors and peers. A positive attitude, ability to take direction, self-motivation and teamwork are important; a strong desire to learn and progress through the interior design profession is critical. Responsibilities
Support interior design focused employees who are not NCIDQ certificate holders. Apply solid design thinking and fundamentals as demonstrated in a college portfolio. Communicate design concepts effectively to supervisors and peers. Take direction from others, maintain a positive attitude, and work as a self-starter and team player. Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and progress through the interior design profession. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, the Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/Rhino (or similar), Bluebeam and Microsoft Office LEED Green Associate Required Qualifications
