Base pay range
$42.50/hr - $46.50/hr Our client is seeking a Technical Designer to assist the team temporarily in their New York office! Hours: Full-time Responsibilities
Assist in developing initial specs, working with the Design team to ensure accuracy of design intent Enter development sample measurements into PLM Track and organize samples as they arrive in office Measure garments to ensure accuracy and consistency with specs Review garments for quality issues Assist during fit sessions by taking detailed photos and notes Generate fit comments to be shared with overseas vendors Maintain tech logs with fit comments and photos throughout the products approval process Support cross-functional partners in Production, Product Development, and Design as needed Qualifications
5+ years of Technical Design experience in apparel design, childrenswear is a plus Excellent verbal communication and writing skills (including contact with overseas fabric mills and suppliers) Knowledge of garment construction Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word and PLM systems Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Please submit your resume for consideration.
