Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a hands‑on Broadcast Production Support Engineer to join the Production Engineering and Newsroom Technology team at a leading media and entertainment client in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, with some travel. The engineer will provide hands‑on support and resolve daily problems, create escalation plans, and work closely with the live on‑air control room, virtualized productions, and level‑3 support team. Responsibilities include engineering validation of new software releases, addressing software bugs, identifying documentation gaps, and working in a Windows/Linux environment with cloud experience in AWS or Azure. Responsibilities
Provide on‑call support for live broadcast production systems. Escalate issues to level‑3 support as needed. Validate new software releases and address bugs. Document and improve technical procedures. Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience with Live Broadcast Production Support. Strong background in a live TV station or broadcasting environment. Experience troubleshooting Windows or Linux operating systems at the system level. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication. Willingness to work rotational shifts, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Experience with Evertz, Blackmagic, Grass Valley, Sony, or Dante audio/video systems. Bachelor’s degree in film production, broadcasting, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience. Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or cloud certifications. Seniority Level
