Thin Films Process Technician- Night Shift

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Thin Films Process Technician for D shift (Wednesday - Friday, every other Saturday, 6:15 pm - 6:45 am). This position will support production line movement and clear the path for process or equipment relative issues in thin film area.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Handle TF PCVD and CVD tool alarm issues to resume production: able to make dispositions of the wafers stuck in the tools and communicate with EE/PE to prevent from happening
Respond to in-line SPC hold by communicating with module engineer owners to stop processing and make deposition rework, depending on the situation.
Ability to response to EPCOT/TPS tool parameter alarm.
Do wafer inspection of colors, scratches, large particles, being able to judge if abnormal wafer is from incoming issues or TF tool relative issues. Stop the problem tool if it is TF tool related
Ability to work independently for the above responsibility
Ability to work on night shift including weekend.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Some experience with TF deposition tools: AMAT Endura PVD of Ti, Al, TiN, CVD of TiN; AMAT Centura HDP, DCVD of BPSG, USG and PSG; Novellus PECVD of SiN, SiO2, Si-rich oxide; AMAT Centura CVD W plugs.
Experience in Etch, DIFF, photo and CMP will be considered too.
Able to use metrology tools: Opti-probe thickness measurement, 4pp RS measurement, stress measurement, reflectance measurement, Tencor defect scan.
Able to set up opti-probe recipe for thickness measurement of new products
2 years of semiconductor fab operation or on-duty technician experience
2 year Technical/Associates degree in Science, Electron Microscopy, Semiconductor Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred

Excellent communication skills (oral and written),
Ability to work well alone as well as with others.
Self-motivated.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
