Transportation Civil Designer
to join our team in
Albuquerque, NM ! Primary Duties
As part of our New Mexico team, you will support the growth of the Ardurra family in our Transportation and Site/Civil Engineering practices. You will contribute to a wide variety of transportation and civil engineering/land development projects throughout the region. Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for civil engineering projects including: geometric design, horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout and sight distance, interchange layout, roadway drainage, and right-of-way plans. Produce roadway sections, erosion control plans, site preparation plans, roadway profiles, drainage plans and profiles, utility plans, paving, pavement marking plans, and signing plans. Education and Experience Requirements
BS in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred but not required. 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Ability to follow basic CAD standards and learn in-house standards. Ability to draw plans efficiently and accurately using Civil 3D. Thorough understanding of roads and streets, drainage and utility design Good written and oral communication abilities and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Must be highly organized, self-motivated and meticulous with details Why Ardurra?
