Abacum is the leading Business Planning solution for finance teams to drive performance. By automating reporting, enabling collaboration, and simplifying planning and forecasting, we help finance teams shift from number crunching to driving strategic decisions. Founded in 2020 by two former CFOs, we’ve grown into a global team of 100+ people across 30+ nationalities. Headquartered in New York, with offices in London and Barcelona, we’re trusted by industry leaders such as Dish Networks, Strava, BetterUp, Kajabi, JG Wentworth, Abridge, Cortex, and hundreds more. We have raised over $100m, closing in June 2025 our $60M Series B, led by Scale Venture Partners, with strong participation from Cathay Innovation, Y Combinator, Atomico, Creandum, and angel investors from Adyen, Zapier, and Twitch. Our mission is ambitious, and we can’t do it alone—join Abacum as we build the future of Business Planning! What we are looking for: a Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at Abacum, you’ll play a key role in crafting an intuitive and flexible UX/UI for our financial planning tool, making it the most user-friendly solution on the market. You’ll be part of our Design team, working closely with Product and Engineering to bring innovative and thoughtful solutions to life. What you'll do:

Understand our users’ needs and workflows, our platform’s functionality and capabilities, as well as our business objectives. Create exploratory concepts using sketches, wireframes, and prototypes. Iterate quickly with stakeholder input. Propose intuitive and innovative design solutions. Document end-to-end flows and specs for seamless handover to Engineers. Assess the usability of our platform by observing others and testing hands-on. Document issues and suggest improvements. Contribute to the design discipline by maintaining our Figma component library and refining design patterns, rituals, and ways of working. Who you are

You are efficient, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You can wear many hats, juggle shifting priorities, and take end-to-end ownership of projects. Ideally, you have experience in an early-stage startup. With a knack for logical thinking, you enjoy understanding, visualizing, and simplifying complex systems — from financial models to our platform’s backend. You have deep and up-to-date knowledge of UX principles and UI patterns. You’re often adopting new methodologies and tools (e.g., coding, animation). Benefits include competitive compensation and generous equity, vacation policy, private health insurance, access to Meditopia, hybrid work culture, flexible hours, and relocation support if needed. Our Values

Customer Obsession:

We focus on creating value for customers and relentlessly deploying our creativity and energy toward that end. Audacious Ambition:

We dream big, embrace discomfort, take risks, learn from mistakes, and strive to accomplish our goals methodically. Good People:

We care for each other, embrace honest feedback, and practice radical transparency. Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
