BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the credit union’s learning culture through written documentation of procedures for all areas of the credit union. Drives the creation of a documentation methodology and framework for all documented procedures.

TYPICAL DUTIES Documents procedures whether on Intranet or hardcopy.

Develops and maintains manuals and procedures using standard processes and framework, working in conjunction with subject matter experts (SMEs) and Compliance.

Maintains written documentation of new programs, new software and hardware.

Writes documentation that provides consistency through all service delivery channels.

Creates flowcharts and diagrams to outline various procedures and processes.

Assists Learning & Development Officers with the design of internal training.

Interviews SMEs to gather information and documentation requirements.

Develops, initiates and manages review processes to ensure consistency with documented procedures.

Analyzes, researches and develops written procedures for process improvement and consistency.

Maintains repository and retention for prior versions of procedures.

Creates and maintains test database in LMS.

Creates, maintains, and generates reports using LMS.

Maintains high level of confidentiality regarding all employee information.

Maintain and understand compliance to ensure that work complies with GECU’s established policies, procedures and applicable regulations, to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Member Identification Program (MIP), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

Other duties as assigned or required in connection with the general operation of the credit union.

QUALIFICATIONS CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Comprehensive knowledge of credit union functions, philosophy, products, services and delivery channels.

Comprehensive knowledge of techniques and philosophies of adult education.

Excellent typing, keyboarding and advanced knowledge of software and other applications as required.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) and Adobe Acrobat DC.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Good organizational skills.

Good presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Two years college or Associates degree and two years similar or related experience.

Requires sitting the majority of the day, lifting up to 20 pounds continuously, up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Bending and squatting occasionally, twisting frequently and reaching above and below shoulder level continuously.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY Providing quality service is the primary responsibility of this position. Quality service means treating members and coworkers with respect and courtesy at all levels whether in person or by telephone as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

HOURS OF AVAILABILITY Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
