Production Supervisor - Performance Films & Solutions

This role manages daily operations, assigns tasks, enforces policies, and identifies process improvements. Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential to drive team performance and meet KPIs. Responsibilities also include hiring support, performance management, and collaboration across diverse teams. This is a first-shift position. Essential Functions

Oversee employee performance, including coaching, training, discipline, and documentation. Lead team meetings, communicate departmental updates, and coordinate support activities. Provide guidance in process improvement, root cause analysis, and process control. Manage technical aspects of production such as job setup, drawing interpretation, troubleshooting dimensional issues, and minor equipment maintenance. Participate in hiring processes as needed. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom, and 5S standards. Implement lean manufacturing practices to drive continuous improvement. Required Qualifications

Proven ability to work effectively in team environments, including coaching, developing, and training team members. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower others, and effectively resolve conflicts. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing rapidly changing priorities and supporting operational needs in alignment with departmental and company goals. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a Technical field, or Business Administration.

Note:

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an ISO-certified environment. Proficiency in QAD, MQ1, or similar enterprise applications. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or World Class Manufacturing principles. A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

BENEFITS IN JOINING US

With a national pay range for this position which is $79,500 to $123,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $87,400 to $135,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
