Job Description CED Systems is hiring a Part-Time or Full-Time licensed Electrician for our cellular sites in the Detroit, MI area. The Electrician will be on our Construction Team and will be responsible for the electrical circuits on Telecommunication tower sites.
The Electrician will be responsible for supporting various Telecom Electrical builds and overseeing projects/crews associated. This position requires travel.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, or replace any and all electrical circuits on Cell Phone / 911 and other Telecommunications Tower Sites
Install single 200A single phase services up to 8 gang 800A multi metering gear
Installs above ground, and underground single-phase circuits for telco, tower, and tower lighting systems on cell sites
Troubleshoot and repair underground and above ground circuits
Performs layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes and existing drawings.
Pull and close electrical permits.
Requirements
Master Electrician License
Knowledge of Electrical Code and State of Michigan Codes
Clean driver license and reliable transportation
Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring, and operating principles of motors
Understanding blueprints, schematics, building plans and engineering drawings
Own hand and power tools pertinent to the electrical trade
Understand various gauges, sizes, conduit, couplings, fittings, relays, circuit breakers and other electrical devices
Adhere to OSHA safety procedures and the Electrical Code (NEC). While an OSHA certification is , it's not mandatory.
