We are looking for a talented CAD Designer 1 to join our dynamic team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit, we want to hear from you! This is an entry‑level position; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
As a Designer 1, you'll be responsible for mid‑level drafting and basic design tasks using CADD to produce technical drawings. You'll work under the guidance of senior designers, engineers, or project managers, contributing to the success of our transportation projects, including roadways, highways, bridges, tunnels, and more.
Responsibilities
Create drawings on AutoCAD for transportation projects such as roadways, highways, bridges, and tunnels.
Perform basic design tasks and manual systems drafting for traffic studies, environmental investigations, and infrastructure inspections.
Provide input for cost estimating purposes.
Request design guidance as needed.
Conduct on‑site reviews and detailed inspections of transportation infrastructure.
Maintain organized project files and proper document filing.
Serve as a knowledge resource and trainer for CADD operators.
Perform QA/QC in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
Graduate of a two‑year technical school or associate's degree in a related field.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Customer service oriented.
