At ISG, you’ll work closely with Brady Thomas, Production Manager, and Jerremy Foss, PE, Civil Engineering Practice Group Leader—leaders who are passionate about mentorship and growth. Here are a few recent projects: City of Des Moines Market District New Richmond Mixed-Use Development Sanford Sports Complex Essential Duties Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules, and specifications using programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS as part of the plan production process Prepare construction documents and records Operate office equipment with printing, scanning, and copying capabilities Observe and inspect work performed by contractors ensuring compliance of specs, drawings, code, and safety Inspect construction sites for quality control and report any variances Interface with contractors, clients, and other ISG team members in a positive & professional manner Determine inspection and testing requirements for the task and perform tests and inspections in a timely manner Assist survey technicians in survey fieldwork Subscribe to our goals and objectives, including geographic and project-type diversity Become a complementary member of our team as a whole, and on a project-by-project basis Qualifications Associate's Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program or Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering program Ability to travel to various job sites and office locations as needed Demonstrated ability in the usage of programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS Able to multi-task and establish priorities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated track record of successful past employment ISG Employee Owner Benefits Medical, dental, and vision Paid time off, pro-rated amount available on your start date Paid holidays and paid volunteer time Paid parental leave Bi-annual profit sharing Employee Ownership Stock Plan (ESOP) 401K retirement plan Life insurance HSA and FSA options Bereavement leave Supplemental voluntary benefits Short term and long-term disability Parking reimbursement, varies on office location Cell phone plan reimbursement Mileage reimbursement for ISG-approved travel ISG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
