AutoCAD Design Drafter Fluid Power Support is a state-of-the-art metal fabrication facility offering CNC, robotic welding, laser technologies, power folding, punching, shearing, sandblasting and powder coating systems. The company was founded in 2000. Job Summary

The AutoCAD Design Drafter will be responsible for designing and developing drawings, plans, schematics, and other documents. This includes drawing layouts, construction drawings, engineering drawings, architectural drawings, building plans and related documents. The drafter will assist in developing detailed designs that meet client needs, including designing buildings or products through reverse engineering using AutoCAD software (Word, Excel) and creating 3D models with various dimensions and resolutions. Responsibilities

Drafting of drawings using CAD software or other software. Work with the AutoCAD team to develop and maintain accurate, high-quality work in accordance with company standards. Understand sheet metal thickness and material used to apply to blueprints. Assist design teams by creating detailed sketches that are visually appealing and functionally attractive. Design construction documents as needed, including drawing layouts, specifications and other documentation related to project scope or task. Coordinate all aspects of engineering tasks on time while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Input data from a building quote form into MBS (Metal Building Software). Other duties as assigned. Highly organized, self-motivated. Proficient in math, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively read a tape measure and understand blueprints/technical drawings. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement. Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective written and verbal communication. Experience and Education

Associates degree in Drafting. 2 years’ experience as a design drafter or similar role. AutoCAD (required). Pro Nest (preferred). MBS (Metal Building Software) – Steel Building (helpful). Physical Demands

Regular and predictable attendance is required. Stand, walk and sit for extended periods. May occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds and larger amounts with assistance. Employee must be able to read, hear and speak English. Note:

In our facility, employees may be exposed to excessive noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, smoke, and ambient temperatures. The Following Personal Protective Equipment Is Required Safety glasses with side shields. Steel-toed boots/shoes. Hearing protection. Pay and Benefits
