Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH’s objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Responsibilities

Typical supply chain operations and logistics functions: receiving, distribution, picking, put‑away, product delivery, point‑of‑use replenishment, stocking, and input of patient charges as directed.

Work with customers within their specific ministry to ensure an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers served.

Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long‑term care facilities, and warehouse operations for the respective ministry.

Stand, walk, sit, talk or hear both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25‑50 pounds.

Required Qualifications

Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.

Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used.

Preferred Qualifications

Medical materials management experience.

Work Schedule Weekdays – Shift hours as scheduled: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, or 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
