Operations Manager

is the backbone of our studio—responsible for ensuring that people, product, and logistics come together seamlessly to deliver beautiful and flawless events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has experience managing operations in event production, catering, or event rentals. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership:

Supervise and schedule operations staff, drivers, and floral designers. Provide hands-on leadership during event installs and strikes. Logistics Management:

Oversee all floral buying, arrangement building, transportation, deliveries, and on-site logistics to ensure timely and accurate event execution. Inventory Control:

Manage floral and plant inventory, rental items, tools, and supplies—ensuring proper organization, maintenance, and rotation. Production Oversight:

Coordinate the flow of product and materials from studio prep to event setup. Partner closely with the design team to ensure creative visions are executed accurately and efficiently. Vendor & Fleet Management:

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and oversee company vehicles and equipment to ensure reliability and compliance. Process & Efficiency:

Develop and refine operational systems to improve productivity, quality, and profitability. Health & Safety:

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace in alignment with industry and company standards. Budget & Cost Management:

Monitor operational costs and support leadership in achieving financial targets. Qualifications: 3+ years of operations management experience in the event industry (floral, catering, event rentals, or related) Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing a diverse team Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities under pressure Familiarity with event logistics, scheduling, and production timelines Ability to lift 30+ lbs and participate in on-site setups when needed A passion for design, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences Schedule: Full‑time position with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
